All of our staff members are professional working actors, teachers, filmmakers, and/or directors. Each has their own unique skill-set and style. Most importantly, all of them are committed to creating a community of professionals and helping other artists further their careers.

AJ Jones

Co-Founder, CEO

AJ began acting in Orlando, Florida, with Yvonne Suhor at Art’s Sake Studios. He then moved to Los Angeles to study at Playhouse West and the Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio. He quickly found success and the opportunity to further his craft in the Los Angeles theatre scene, earning an LA Weekly Award nomination as a member of the cast of “What’s Wrong With Angry?” at the Celebration Theatre. As part of the cast of “NO HOMO”, he won a “Best in Ensemble Theatre” Award at the Hollywood Fringe Theatre Festival, and performed at the Players Theatre in New York City as a part of Fringe NYC. He has been written about for his work in Backstage Magazine, LA Weekly, Broadway World, and the Los Angeles Times. He made his Equity debut with the Cygnet Theatre in San Diego, before moving to Atlanta to focus on film and TV.

In his short time in Atlanta, AJ has quickly gained consistent work in television and commercials, most recently on “Being Mary Jane” and a test for the upcoming series “The Liberator” on The History Channel. He has a passion for building community and loves putting actors on tape. He can’t wait to make Nova House the place where he can do both. Whether you want a good amount of coaching, or none at all, AJ is great at working with any style of actor, and will help you get your best takes with his relaxed, easy-going style.

AJ is represented by Tay Smith and Chris Young at BYSB Talent.

Michael Finn

Co-Founder, CCO

Michael is a versatile film and stage actor, known to bring an endless energy, unique ideas, and a high level of professionalism to any set. He constantly works to hone his craft, looking forward to the challenges and projects ahead of him. Michael has recently concluded the national tour of Set It Off, in which he played Detective Strode, and can also be seen in episode 4 of Black Lightning.

Born and raised in Toms River, NJ, Michael began his foray into the arts by becoming a drummer, but it wasn't until high school that he discovered his love for acting.  He pursued his passion, obtaining a B.F.A. in acting from Montclair State University, and continued to follow his passion to New York, which he called home for many years. Currently located in Atlanta, he looks forward to taking his career to the next level.

Working as both an actor and an award-winning filmmaker, Michael is constantly challenging himself by finding new projects, reading new scripts, or writing his own. Michael is also a teacher at Premier Actor's Network and an acting coach.  He enjoys using his skill set to help actors give their best performance for auditions and productions. Full of drive, ambition, and humor (with a touch of sarcasm), he loves to push limits, erase boundaries, create amazing art, and help people reach new heights. He embraces any chance to work with people who do the same.

Michael is represented by Tay Smith and Chris Young at BYSB Talent.
